Teams Room Controller - Getting Started
As with our Zoom Rooms, our Teams Rooms will have a pad on the table from which you start, join and can modify a Teams Room Meeting. This article highlights the more common features and some you may find helpful while in your Teams Meeting.

Some buttons/options found on the Controller are there for administrative functions and cannot be removed, they may be used for troubleshooting issues with IT personnel.

The Home Screen
This is where your Teams Room Meeting begins. If it appears as though a meeting is in-progress, tap the RED button in the lower-right of the Controller to end it.

Room Schedule
- All upcoming meetings are displayed in this right-justified section
- Tap Join if displayed on the meeting
- Or tap the meeting and then Join

Meet Now (Instant Meeting)
- Tap to Start and Instant Meeting
- When the meeting starts tap in the Type a name field on the pad
- Type the name of the person and/or Room you wish to add
- Tap the name from the list, Teams will invite them to the meeting
- Rooms Auto-Connect, People must "Accept" on their device
- Repeat for each person or Room you wish to invite

Call (Instant Meeting)
- Very similar to Meet Now as it ultimately starts a Teams Meeting
- Tap Call
- Type the name of the person or Room
- Tap that name from the list and Teams will invite them to the Meeting

NOTE: We do not have calling enabled in Teams:
- Dialing a number will not work
- This will start a Teams Meeting when connected

Join with an ID
- Join any scheduled meeting using the Meeting ID & (if applicable) Password
- Tap Teams or Zoom (more on that HERE)
- Tap the Meeting ID field and enter the Meeting ID
- Tap the password field, enter the Meeting Passwor
